As a young American, aged 25, I experienced my first International Women’s Day in a Russian banya (featured). In the company of 13 extraordinary women, I toasted the power and tenderness of sisterhood, and was initiated into their tradition of female solidarity. Восьмое марта / the 8th of March has a long tradition across the world and in this class, we will briefly explore its origins and history. Concentrating our shared time on activating the power, tenderness, and beauty of the divine female inside of us all.
